FALL FLING DETAILS...

Here are the details about this year's "Fall Fling" - Please note there are two hotels where you need to make reservations NOW. The first night is in Hugo at "the Village Inn" - Phone # (580) 326-3333. The second Hotel for Saturday evening is "The Majestic" in Hot Springs and the # is 1(800) 643-1604 for those OUTSIDE of Arkansas. For those calling from Arkansas the # is (501) 623-5511. Please pass this on to all the members of your club. 

Remember you can pick up the tour anywhere along the route so if starting out in Tulsa is not convenient, pick the best spot for you to meet up with the group. Participants departing from Tulsa will meet at Jaguar Tulsa Dealership, 96th and Memorial no later than 9:30 am. as we will depart promptly at 9:45 AM 

Leisurely drive via Creek Nation Turnpike and Hwy 75 to Henrietta. Leave Hwy 75 and take I 40 East to Hwy 69 and South on Hwy 69 through the Lake Country to Hwy 270. Go east on Hwy 270 to Krebs. Lunch awaits us at Roseanna’s Italian Restaurant. 

After lunch—Depart Krebs East on 270 to Haileyville, then East to Talihina on St hwy 1 to Hwy 259. South. Follow 259 South to Idabel then US 70 west to Hugo. Dinner will be at Harleys Restaurant in Hugo. 

Evening’s lodging at Village Inn, 610 West Jackson, Hugo, Oklahoma. Room rate is $46.00 + tax and a block of rooms are held for Jaguar Club of Tulsa. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Phone (580) 326-3333 .

Breakfast on your own then meet in Village Inn Parking for departure promptly at 9:00 AM
Depart Hugo on US 70 East to Dierks. South on US 278 to Nashville then North on Arkansas State 27 to Crater of Diamonds State Park . Group admission charge $2.50 each . Did you remember to bring your knee pads, sun screen, and digging tools to search for a treasure? Who knows, you may find a “stone” to make you rich. Tool rental is available. 

Lunch on your own or you may order a Box Lunch prepared by Harleys at Hugo. Advance order by calling (580) 326-5980. Depart Crater of Diamonds State Park at your leisure. Take St Hwy 27 north to US 270 at Kirby and follow 270 to Hot Springs. 

Evening destination is Majestic Resort Hotel and Spa, 101 Park Ave., Hot Springs (501) 623-5511 outside of Arkansas use 1(800) 643-1604. Single rooms $59.00 , Double rooms $69.00. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. A block of rooms are being held in the name of Jaguar Club of Tulsa. 

Choose your own restaurant for the evening meal. Those who wish may attend a private viewing of the Automobile Museum and Restoration facility at Hot Springs Village. Departing the Majestic Resort Hotel parking lot at 7:30 pm. Refreshments provided. 


Sunday, October 3, 2004 


Breakfast on your own. Depart hotel 9:30 AM on State Hwy 7 north for leisurely drive through Ouachita National Forest to Atkins, Arkansas. Enjoy a tour of the Post and Weiderkehr vineyards for wine tasting followed by lunch at Weiderkehr’s and the food here is great. 


This concludes our “Fall Fling” . Don’t forget your designated driver and have a safe trip home.
