Ferrari's Ristorante Report

JOASW was operating under high horsepower at the last "First Tuesday" in February at the fabulous Italian cuisine ristorante of the Seechi family who served the Jaguar Owners some of the best Italian recipes we have ever experienced in the 40 year history of the Club. Special reserved parking for our beloved Jaguars was just outside the door to the bar and the delightful private dining room, where 22 stalwart Italian food aficionados from the Club gathered for the evening.

New member Buck Johnson and "old" member Eloy Villafranca were singled out for awards of gifts donated by Millennium Motors. The club welcomed a talk by our own John Krieger, who had just returned from a maiden trip on the QM2. The Cruise Committee report was provided the group with a possible JOASW Caribbean Cruise in May. More details to follow. Our first Annual East Texas Rally sanctioned by JCNA is set for Feb.21 and the Progressive dinner is planned for June 12, in addition to all the other events listed in our calendar, so the members had a great time hearing all the plans. We said "au revoir" to our missionaries David and Judy who will be proselytizing in St Bart's for the next month under our proposed JCNA Affiliate policy. Same for Dennis & Gail Cheever in Belize! Yuk, Yuk!

Once again, the powerful Jaguars fired up and passed into the North Texas night with a sincere remembrance of the "silent exhaust" of Brad Autrey (2002 Black XJR-100) JCOA, a friend , brother and competitor in Class 13. Our prayers are with Julianne and baby Olivia…
