EAST TEXAS RALLY & CAR SHOW

Yep, it's a humdinger event for a mid-winter tune-up JCNA Sanctioned Rally to the fabulous 14th Annual East Texas Auto & Cycle Show in Tyler. Come for the day or stay the weekend!

This is the largest car show in East Texas, attracting 6,000 to 10,000 people per year. Jeff Snyder, of Jeff's Resurrections in Taylor will be showing his E-Type that was recently judged the "Best of Show" in the Jaguar National Event. Club member Billy Hibbs, Jr. will be having the first public showing of his 1965 Harley Electra Glide, that has kept him busy for the last three years. There will be a great deal of interesting automobiles for those who enjoy quality car show events. After the show, the group will take the "scenic route" south of Tyler to visit East Texas' only vintner, Kiepersol Winery and Restaurant. After dinner, the group has been invited to have desserts, coffee, and after dinner drinks at the home of Tisa and Billy Hibbs, and to tour his restoration garage.

The return rally will be on Sunday from Tyler to Cedar Bayou Marina in Gordonville. Afterwards member Jim Patrick has once again graciously invited the club to cruise Lake Texoma aboard the "Irish Eyes". Dinner is planned at the nearby Pelican Restaurant after the cruise. Expect further details to be given at the driver's meeting Saturday morning.
