ANGELO'S FIRST TUESDAY REPORT
Angelo's is now the official "BBQ Home of the JOASW" as announced by David Nichols, 2004 VP for events at the "First Tuesday" dinner on January 6. Judy and
David Nichols are shown with "Skeet" George, Proprietor of Angelo's who accepted the challenge to provide the coldest beer and best BBQ and ribs in Texas to JOASW and friends in 2004! Skeet even went back into the store room to retrieve a picture of a JOASW Jaguar, circa 1972. We promised to provide an up-dated picture of a current member Championship Jaguar for Angelo's "Wall of Honor".
More than 20 members of JOASW and Autobahn Motors staff enjoyed the evening with a tour of the magnificent facilities of this multi-line highly esteemed Jaguar Cars dealership with the focus on our beloved Jaguar Marque. Benny Miller, GM for Jaguar and Land Rover welcomed the Club with a tour of the showroom and shared his view and comments about the Jaguar line for 2004, as well as, some "off the record" observations based on his very close relationships with Jaguar.
Can we say the "F-type" was mentioned? More on the subject of relationships between JCNA Clubs and Jaguar dealers in a future article. Go visit the folks at Autobahn when you're in Fort Worth while partaking of JOASW "Home BBQ"
Well, as always, several of the members had to talk more Jaguarish and adjourned to the nearby Pedro's Trailer Park Cantina for serious libations and the latest JOASW Growler
